Background

Going back a long way I was a science and mathematics geek but bubbling along underneath all of the equations and certain right and wrong answers was a passion for stories that was trying to get out.

When I got to college I started to explore this and, thanks to a very good group of friends, I found out I could do OK at this word stuff. So I set about trying to find a university course in Creative Writing.

I found one and this caused me to journey to Wales for an amazing three years where I wrote, made friends and probably drank far too much.

Fast forward 5 years and I am now a career editor/manager who always wants to write but never actually does it. A bit of a health scare put end to this when I decided that I needed to do something and the only way to make sure that I saw it through was to make other people dependant on me.

Thus, Supermarket Matters was born.

Future

I would love to see In Ear Entertainment up there with the best production companies. Releasing both free and paid-for content to the masses. Turning a profit would be a good start.

Ideally we would be able to get some of our work on the BBC – that would be brill.

But at the end of the day, I am having fun and making some amazing new friends. If just one of us can use In Ear as a way to further our careers then I would say this has all worked.
