My role in In Ear
I host Shakespeare’s Sonnets together with Mark Chatterley.
Background
I spent the first twenty years of my life in a tiny European country called Luxembourg, where I created and hosted various podcasts, several radio shows, ventured into Shakespearean acting for a while and filmed a few short films. I also read at literary festivals and co-wrote an audiobook. I am a language nerd: I am currently learning my tenth, and I don’t intend to stop anytime soon. I wrote about In Ear Entertainment as part of my MA, and I jumped on board as soon as Mark let me.
I love science-fiction and am particularly obsessed with time travel paradoxes and parallel universes. I blame my mother, for she raised me on Star Trek (an Englishman unable to pronounce his French character’s first name still gets to me), Babylon 5 (how long was that summer after the Za’ha’dum cliffhanger) and Battlestar Galactica (the one in which Starbuck is a man).
Currently, you can often find me behind the camera while I am trying to gain experience as a cinematographer. I’d like to write dramas for Radio 4 one day and see my novel on bookshelves (I probably need to hurry up before Amazon crushes them out of existence). If none of those things come to pass, I will pursue plan B and become world emperor (for the sake of humanity, someone should stop me before that happens).
