So we are getting towards to point where writing can start. Last week saw the deadline for briefs to come in.
We have had a number of briefs in – all of which are brilliant. The ideas that people have come up with are really good and the series is set to be very interesting. We have episodes that have an element of radio slapstick in them, others which bring to mind a traditional British farce and there are others which are set to be quite moving.
So far we have seven of the 12 episodes accounted for with another two confirmed to be in by the end of this week. This will leave three more that are up for grabs. Once all the episodes are accounted for, I will update all the documents: the character bible, the episode listings and put writers in touch with each other. Then the writing can start.
At this point I will also do a post containing a list of the episode working titles and who is writing them.
